EPHEC

I am working since 2020 as a lecturer at the Haute École EPHEC (EPHEC), a higher education institution. My current role in this school is to teach several courses for students of the further education programs in cybersecurity and human resource management. The courses are taught in French, but some resources are only provided in English.

Currently taught

  • 7532.14.U32.D1 – Software security, 2020–now (3 years)
This course, taught to students of a short training in cybersecurity, presents the principles of secure software development and some advanced concepts related to software security. Several practical tools are presented to students who can practice some of them on simple case studies.
  • 7532.11.U32.D1 – Host security, 2022–now (2 years)
This course, taught to students of a short training in cybersecurity, presents how to secure a host in a computer system, both on the software and hardware levels. More precisely, it explains how to harden the operating system and manage access control policies.
  • 0132.03.U32.D2 – Éléments de statistique, 2022–now (2 years)
This course, taught to students in first year of bachelor in human resource management, presents basic statistics concepts: population and sample, variable and observation, class and frequency, centrality (median, mode, mean and standard deviation) and dissymmetry measures, etc.
